Kona Coffee Growers with Farms in TMK Section 8-4

Help control the Coffee Berry Borer (CBB) in your area and increase your profits.  Participate in a CBB Task Force/Synergistic Hawaii Agriculture Council grant program to control the CBB by using a recommended Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system.  The IPM control includes manual field sanitization, monitoring, and use of Beauveria with optional use of traps and pruning.  Beauveria and traps will be free in limited quantities to coffee growers with farms in TMK Section 8-4.  The program is to assist growers in understanding and reducing the cost of the IMP system.  Only through an area-wide effort can you and your fellow Kona coffee growers effectively control the infestation of the CBB.  There will be a workshop to introduce the grant program.  We hope you are able to attend and look forward to seeing you!
