CBB Spray Demonstration & Workshop

  • 22 Sep 2012
  • 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
  • Greenwell farm
The coffee berry borer affects all Kona coffee.  CBB damage
will get worse if ignored but can be controlled with proper
management.  This field workshop will cover all the basics
with a focus on sprayer equipment and techniques.  Find
contractors for hire, buy traps, view sprayers and discuss
what works and what doesn’t work with other farmers.

There will also be a brief discussion and example of taking soil and tissue analysis.  Soil testing is vital for determining proper fertilizer types and quantities.  Even organic farms can benefit from soil and tissue analysis.

Workshop is co-sponsored by the Kona Coffee Council and UH CTAHR Cooperative Extension Office.  Attendance is free.  For more information contact education@kona-coffee-council.com
