Kona Risk Management School

The Local and Immigrant Farmer Education (LIFE) Program and Risk Management Hawaii (RMH) Program will be hosting two day-long events. The first will be at the King Kamehameha Hotel called Kona Risk Management School on Thursday, June 7 and the second will be at the Pahala Clubhouse called Kau Risk Management School on Saturday, June 9. 

These conferences will host presentations from university, state and federal researchers, county specialists, and crop insurance advisors, as well as have a panel discussion with crop insured coffee farmers and tradeshow participants ranging from commercial horticultural fertilizer and chemical companies to honey bees.  Topics will include Coffee Berry Borer, crop insurance, risk in agriculture, ag dedication, and more.

Lunch, coffee breaks and prizes to be included. Flyers will go out soon.
