Incestuous blending: One coffee roasted different ways - A seminar and demonstration

Brewalalai Kona Coffee Bar - 79-7491 Mamalahoa Hwy, on the mauka side of the road, immediately south of Kainaliu village.

Cost: $10 - Pay at the door.

Bob Nelson of Lehuula Farms and Dr. Shawn Steiman of Coffea Consulting will present a 30 minute seminar about blending coffee, focusing on using a single coffee at different roast levels. To demonstrate the effect, a single coffee, roasted to 2 different levels, will be served to attendees in 5 different blend ratios. Shawn will also be available to sign copies of his book, The Hawai'i Coffee Book: A Gourmet's Guide from Kona to Kaua'i, available for purchase from Brewalalai.
